4-H Hot Diggety Dogs - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. (or 8) hot dogs
    1 small or medium onion
    3 Tbsp. shortening or butter/margarine
    1 lb. baked beans
    1/4 c. catsup
    1 Tbsp. brown sugar or 2 to 3 packets Sweet 'N Low
    1 tsp. mustard
Preparation
    Cook first 3 ingredients on medium heat until hot dogs are browned on both sides and onion is tender, then add remaining ingredients.
    Bring to slight boil and serve.
    Great with garlic bread.
    Serves 4 to 6 people.
