Early Bird Asparagus Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. asparagus, cleaned and trimmed
    2 cubes butter or margarine
    1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
    1 c. Mozzarella or Jack cheese, diced or shredded
Preparation
    Cook asparagus and drain well.
    Arrange cooked asparagus in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.
    Melt butter.
    Add soup mix, stirring well.
    Drizzle mixture over asparagus.
    Top with cheese.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
