Shortcut Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. shortening
2 c. self-rising flour
3/4 c. milk
margarine or butter, melted
Preparation

Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
Cut shortening into flour with pastry blender until mixture resembles fine crumbs.
Stir in just enough milk so dough leaves side of bowl and rounds up into a ball (too much milk makes dough sticky, not enough makes biscuits dry).
