Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. butter or margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. mashed ripe bananas
    2 c. sifted cake flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
    1 c. flaked coconut
Preparation
    In large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs.
    Beat 2 minutes.
    Add bananas.
    Beat 2 minutes.
    Set aside.
    Sift flour, soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk and vanilla.
    Beat well.
    Stir in nuts.
    Turn into two lightly greased 9-inch round cake pans. Sprinkle batter with half the coconut.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
    Remove cakes from pan and cool, coconut side up on wire racks.
