Microwave Southern Pralines - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
    2/3 c. half and half
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. melted oleo
    1 1/2 c. pecans
Preparation
    Combine sugar, half and half and salt in a deep glass bowl, mixing well.
    Blend in oleo.
    Microwave on High, 10 minutes, stirring once.
    Stir in pecans.
    Cool 1 minute.
    Beat by hand until creamy and thickened, about 4 to 4 1/2 minutes.
    The mixture will lose some of its gloss.
    Drop by the tablespoonful onto waxed paper.
    Makes 2 to 2 1/2 dozen.
