Homemade Tortillas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour
    6 tsp. baking powder
    3 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 1/4 c. hot water
Preparation
    Combine flour, salt and baking powder.
    Work in shortening, then add water, working into a large ball.
    Break into small balls (about 24) and roll flat on floured surface.
    Heat on both sides, then they are ready to eat.
