Never Fail Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/3 c. shortening
1 egg, beaten
5 Tbsp. broth or water
Preparation

Mix flour, salt, shortening, egg and broth (or water).
Stir well. Roll out thin on well floured surface. Let dry 15 minutes. Cut into strips and drop in slow boiling broth.
