Mom'S Stuffed Mushrooms - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. large capped mushrooms
1 stick butter or oleo
1 small onion, chopped
1 c. Italian bread crumbs
1 egg
Preparation

Wash mushrooms and remove stems.
Melt 3/4 stick butter; add onion and chopped mushroom stems.
Cook until onion is clear. Remove from heat and cool.
Add beaten egg and bread crumbs to make stuffing.
Salt and pepper to taste.
Stuff caps and put on foil lined cookie sheet.
Melt 1/4 stick butter and pour over top. Cover tightly with foil and bake at 400\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
