Meatball-Vegetable Skillet Dinner - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. bread crumbs
    1/2 c. evaporated milk
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2 Tbsp. onion
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 Tbsp. shortening
    2 c. potatoes
    1 (20 oz.) pkg. mixed vegetables
    1 c. water
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Soak bread crumbs in evaporated milk.
    Put meat in bowl; add 1 teaspoon salt, pepper, nutmeg, onion and milk mixture.
    Mix well and make into small meatballs.
    Roll meatballs in flour.
    Melt shortening in electric frying pan; brown meatballs.
    Add vegetables and water.
    Sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste.
    Cover and cook until vegetables are tender, about 30 minutes.
    Serves 4.
