Lemon Cheese Cake Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 round angel food cake
    6 eggs
    3/4 c. lemon juice
    grated rind of 1 lemon
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 envelope plain Knox gelatine
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks until thick and light.
    Add sugar, lemon juice and
    rind.\tCook in double boiler until thick.
    Dissolve gelatine in a
    little
    cold\twater
    and
    put into hot mixture. Cool.
    Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into yolk mixture. Grease 10-inch tube
    pan
    with
    oil.
    Cut\tcake
    into thirds. Alternate
    filling and
    cake,\tstarting with filling.\tChill. Turn out
    on
    cake plate and frost with whipped cream.
    Chill until ready
    to\tserve. (Can
    frost
    with\twhipped
    cream and garnish with cherries or lemon wedges or slices.)
