Brown Sugar Upside-Down Bread Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. packed dark brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. butter (at room temperature)
    3 slices firm white bread
    1/2 c. raisins
    3 large eggs
    2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. maple flavoring (optional)
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Sprinkle sugar over bottom of 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
    Butter both sides of bread.
