Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. beef stew meat (3/4-inch pieces)
1/2 stick margarine
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/4 tsp. dry mustard
1 (4 oz.) can sliced mushrooms stems and pieces (save liquid)
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. sour cream
cooked rice
Preparation

Melt butter in heavy skillet.
Saute onions until soft.
Remove onion.
Combine flour and seasonings.
Coat meat with flour and brown on all sides.
Drain mushrooms and measure liquid.
Add liquid, Worcestershire sauce and onion to meat.
Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
Stir in sour cream and heat.
Do not boil.
Serve over hot cooked rice.
Makes 4 servings.
