*Coconut Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 c. sugar
    1 beaten egg
    1/2 lb. dates, cut up
    2 c. Rice Krispies
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    Angel Flake coconut
Preparation
    Cook margarine, sugar, egg and dates together until thick; stir constantly.
    Cool slightly.
    Add remaining ingredients; cool thoroughly.
    Roll into balls or tiny rolls, then roll in Angel Flake coconut.
    Store in the refrigerator.
    Will keep indefinitely.
