Cream Of Mushroom Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. (1/4 lb.) mushrooms
    2 Tbsp. chopped onions
    2 Tbsp. butter
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. light cream
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
Preparation
    Slice mushrooms through cap and stem.
    Cook with onion in butter for 5 minutes.
    Add flour and blend; add stock.
    Cook and stir until slightly thickened.
    Cool slightly.
    Add sour cream and seasoning.
    Heat through.
    Serve at once.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
