Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. sifted self-rising flour
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 tsp. soda
    1 pkg. dry yeast, dissolved in 5 Tbsp. lukewarm water
    2 c. buttermilk, at room temperature
    melted oleo
Preparation
    Sift flour and sugar together; cut in shortening to resemble coarse cornmeal.
    Add soda to buttermilk; add to flour mixture. Beat until smooth.
    Store in refrigerator or use immediately.
    Roll and cut like Parker House rolls with melted oleo on top and on fold.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until brown.
    Yields 5 dozen.
