Marinated Cabbage Slaw - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. cabbage, grated
    1 or 2 green peppers, chopped
    2 onions, chopped
    2 c. sugar
    1 c. salad oil
    1 c. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 Tbsp. salt
Preparation
    Grate cabbage. Add green pepper and onions. Mix well with sugar. Bring to boil the salad oil, vinegar, celery seed and salt. Pour over cabbage and mix well. Put in tight container and store in refrigerator overnight before serving. Will keep for 30 days. Serves 20.
