Pork Chop Skillet Supper - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 pork chops
6 medium potatoes
1 green pepper
1 can stewed tomatoes (tomato sauce may be substituted)
1 to 2 lemon slices
salt and pepper to taste
1 to 2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

In a large skillet, heat oil; add chops and pan braise, turning chops so that both sides are lightly browned.
Cook until done.
Pare and slice potatoes.
When chops are done, add potatoes over the top of the chops.
Sprinkle on the green peppers.
Pour in the tomatoes.
The lemon slices go on top of all other ingredients.
If necessary, add a little water to cover potatoes. Cover skillet and simmer until vegetables are tender.
Salt and pepper to taste.
