Coconut Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 egg whites, room temperature
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 c. flaked coconut
1 c. quick cooking oats
1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation

Chill bowl and beaters.
Beat egg whites with salt and cream of tartar until foamy; gradually add sugar and almond extract (or flavoring).
Beat until stiff peaks form.
Fold in coconut, oats and pecans.
Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
