Chocolate Hot Water Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. cocoa
3 eggs
dash of salt
2 c. boiling water
2 tsp. soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
3 c. flour

Preparation

Beat the sugar, shortening, cocoa, eggs and salt.
Mix all ingredients together.
Put in a greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
