Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 stick butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 (1 lb.) can Hershey's syrup
1 c. flour
1/2 c. nuts (optional)

Preparation

Mix together butter and sugar.
Add remaining ingredients in order.
Bake on a large cookie sheet at 350\u00b0 for 18 to 20 minutes (ovens may vary).
Watch closely until you can touch the top and finger will not stick.
Do not overbake!
Makes 36 (2-inch) squares.
