Vodka Pasta - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 Tbsp. oleo
2/3 c. vodka
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
2 c. diced or stewed tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 c. heavy cream (no substitutions; can use evaporated milk)
3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese (no low or low-fat)
1 lb. penne, penne regatta or ziti pasta
Preparation

Cook pasta according to directions on package.
Drain.
While pasta is cooking, heat oleo in large skillet over medium, low heat.
Stir in vodka and red pepper.
Heat gently 3 to 4 minutes. Add tomatoes and salt.
Increase heat; cook until thick, about 10 minutes.
Stir in cream and cheese.
Serve over cooked pasta.
