Portuguese Sweet Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 medium potatoes
7 to 8 c. flour
3 pkg. dry yeast
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter
7 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
-
Cook potatoes in boiling water.
Reserve 1/2 cup potato water and mix in when potatoes are mashed.
Mix all dry ingredients together in a large bowl.
