Butter Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. butter
    1 egg yolk
    1 c. confectioners sugar
    flavoring
Preparation
    Cream butter in 1/4 cup sugar; add egg yolk.
    Beat well.
    Add remaining sugar, a little at a time.
    For flavoring, add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla or other extract.
