Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 baked pie shell
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. cold water
1 qt. strawberries, cleaned and hulled
2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
3 Tbsp. thin cream
2 Tbsp. cornstarch, mixed with cold water
whipped cream or whipped topping (optional)
Preparation

In a saucepan, boil sugar and water together until sugar is dissolved.
Pour mixture over berries and let cool.
Drain syrup from berries and thicken with cornstarch which has been dissolved in cold water.
Cool.
