Taffy Apple Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    20 oz. can crushed pineapple
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 1/2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 egg
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    2 c. small marshmallows
    4 c. red apples, chopped with skins
    1 1/2 c. Spanish peanuts with skins
Preparation
    Drain pineapple; save juice.
    Beat egg, sugar, flour and vinegar into juice.
    Cook over medium heat until thick, stirring constantly, until it bubbles.
    Cool completely.
    Stir in remaining ingredients and chill.
    Makes 8 servings.
