Black Magic Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sq. (2 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
1/4 c. water
2 Tbsp. plus 1 1/2 c. sugar, divided
6 large eggs, separated
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. orange juice
1 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
1 Tbsp. grated orange rind
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Melt chocolate with 2 tablespoons sugar and water in double boiler; cool.
Beat egg whites with salt and cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
Gradually beat in 1/2 cup sugar and beat until stiff peaks form.
