Cream Of Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. chopped onion or generous amount of onion powder
    2 c. broccoli
    1/2 tsp. dried thyme
    1 small bay leaf
    dash of garlic powder
    2 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    1 c. skim or low-fat milk
Preparation
    Cook in pot first 6 ingredients until mixture boils.
    Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes or until broccoli is tender. Remove bay leaf.
    Place 1/2 mixture in blender.
    Blend 30 to 60 seconds.
    Pour into bowl.
    Repeat with remaining mixture.
    Set aside.
