Dove Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    14 to 16 dove
    flour
    1/2 c. salad oil
    1/2 c. chopped green onion
    1 1/2 c. water
    sherry
    1/4 c. chopped parsley
Preparation
    Season dove with salt and pepper, roll in flour.
    Place in oil in a
    heavy
    roaster.
    Bake
    at
    400\u00b0 until brown.\tAdd onions, water and 1 cup of sherry.\tBake covered until tender, basting with sherry
    occasionally.\tAdd
    parsley to gravy just before serving.
