Oven Barbecued Steaks - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. round steak (3/4-inch thick)
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    3/4 c. catsup
    1/2 c. vinegar
    3/4 c. water
    7 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cut steaks in 10 equal parts.
    Pour oil into skillet.
    Brown each piece of steak on both sides.
    Transfer steaks to a roasting pan.
    Add onions to oil in skillet and brown lightly.
    Add rest of ingredients to make a sauce and simmer 5 minutes.
    Pour sauce over steaks in pan.
    Cover and bake 2 hours or until tender.
