Cracklin Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. white self-rising cornmeal
    1 c. cracklins
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. water
    2 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
    Combine all ingredients except oil.
    Add more water or milk, if needed.
    Should be the consistency of cake batter.
    Heat oil in iron skillet until very hot.
    Add mixture.
    Bake in preheated oven, 450\u00b0, for 25 minutes.
