Green Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. beef steak (chuck or round)
    1/4 c. oil
    1 clove garlic
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 c. water
    1 c. chopped green peppers
    1 c. chopped onions
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1 (14.5 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 c. water
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    rice
Preparation
    Brown beef in hot oil; add garlic clove and chopped green peppers.
    Cook until the mixture looks yellow.
    Add soy sauce, salt, 1/2 cup water, onions and celery.
    Cook for 45 minutes.
    Stir cornstarch in 1 cup water and add to mixture.
    Serve over rice.
