Tex-Mex Cornbread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. self-rising cornbread
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. skim milk
2 eggs, beaten
1 (8 1/2 oz.) can cream-style corn
Preparation

Heat oven to 450\u00b0.
Grease an 8-inch square casserole. Combine cornmeal and cayenne pepper in a large bowl. Add onion, green pepper, cheese, milk, eggs and corn.
Mix well. Spoon batter into casserole. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 25 minutes or until golden. Cut into 2-inch squares.
Makes 16 servings.
