Curried Fruit - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 stick butter or margarine
    1 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
    1 tsp. curry powder
    1 (No. 2 can; about 20 oz.) peach slices
    1 (No. 2 can; about 20 oz.) pear halves
    1 (No. 2 can; about 20 oz.) pineapple slices
    1 jar (about 15 oz.) spiced apple rings
    maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Combine butter or margarine, sugar and curry powder and bring to a boil.
    Drain the fruit and arrange it in a 2-quart baking dish.
    Pour hot sauce over fruit.
    Garnish with cherries.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 to 40 minutes.
    Serve hot.
    Very good with poultry, curried ham and pork.
    Serves 8 to 10.
