Ernestine'S Coconut Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 can Carnation milk
    1 can water
    4 eggs, separated
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
    1 Tbsp. vanilla
    2 baked pie crusts
Preparation
    Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
    Add milk, water, egg yolks and vanilla.
    Mix well.
    Cook these ingredients until thickened, then add coconut.
    Pour mixture into 2 baked pie crusts.
    Put meringue on top and brown in 400\u00b0 oven.
