Best Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine, softened
    5 large fresh eggs
    1 c. sweet milk
    1 c. Crisco
    3 c. plain White Lily flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. butter flavoring
Preparation
    Cream
    margarine, sugar and Crisco well.
    Add eggs, one at
    a time.
    Beat
    well.
    Add flavorings.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
    Add
    milk
    and flour, a little at a time, until all is used.
    Bake
    in
    a
    tube
    cake pan that has been greased with
    solid Crisco shortening and floured at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour or longer, depending on how hot the oven cooks.
