Old Time Apple Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (9-inch) pastry double pie crust
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. flour
6 c. peeled, sliced cooking apples (2 lb.)
2 tsp. lemon juice
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Preparation

Line a 9-inch pie pan with pastry.
Mix sugar, salt, flour, butter, brown sugar, lemon juice and cinnamon.
Fill pie shell. Lay apple slices flat.
Dot with butter.
Roll out top crust and cut slits in several places for steam to escape.
Moisten edges of crust with cold water and adjust top crust on pie.
Pinch two crusts together to make a tight seal around pie.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 minutes.
Reduce heat and bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes. Serve warm.
