Granny Mart'S Prune Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. vegetable oil
2 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
1 c. pecans, chopped
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. allspice
1 c. prunes, cooked and diced
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. buttermilk
2 Tbsp. corn syrup
1/2 tsp. baking soda
6 Tbsp. butter

Preparation

Bring sugar, milk, soda and syrup to soft ball stage.
Take off heat.
Add butter; mix and pour over cake.
