Mock Cooter Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. lean beef or ground meat
    1 pt. sweet milk
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 tsp. mace
    1/2 tsp. dry mustard
    1 1/2 qt. water
    1/4 lb. oleo
    1/2 pt. cream
    2 hard-boiled eggs, cut up in medium-size chunks
Preparation
    Boil meat and water until one quart of liquid remains.
    Add one pint of milk and 1/4 pound oleo.
    Remove meat; allow to cool. Grind and return to stock.
    Let it cook down a little more.
    Add flour dissolved in cream.
    Add seasoning.
