Marinated Carrots - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. fresh carrots
    1 medium onion, sliced and separated into rings
    1 green pepper, sliced
    1 can tomato soup (undiluted)
    1/3 c. salad oil
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. vinegar
    1/2 c. water
    1/2 tsp. dill weed (optional)
Preparation
    Peel carrots.
    Slice in about 1/2-inch chunks and cook just until tender.
    Drain.
    Add pepper slices and onion rings and mix together in a container suitable for refrigerator storage.
