Air Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 eggs, separated
    1 1/2 c. granulated sugar
    1 1/2 c. flour, sifted 3 times
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/8 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Beat egg whites to foam.
    Gradually add 1/2 cup sugar and salt.
    Beat stiff.
    Beat egg yolks and gradually add 1 cup sugar and beat until lemon color.
    Add flour and water in small amounts. Add vanilla.
    Fold yellows into whites.
    Bake in large ungreased angel food pan at 300\u00b0 for 30 minutes and at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes longer.
