White Bean Soup With Pesto Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) pkg. white navy beans
    several ribs celery, chopped
    1 large onion, chopped
    1/2 c. brown rice, uncooked
    1 to 2 cloves chopped garlic (if desired)
    1 (8 oz.) green beans (frozen)
    1 (8 oz.) frozen English peas
    chopped potatoes, carrots, zucchini (as much as desired of each)
    1 small head cabbage
Preparation
    Soak beans overnight, discard water.
    Cover beans with triple amount of water.
    Add celery and onion.
    Cook until beans are tender.
    Add brown rice and garlic.
    Add remaining ingredients. Add cabbage; cook briefly.
    Add 2 tablespoons Pesto to each serving.
