Coffee Cake With Beer - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. packed brown sugar
1 c. butter or margarine, softened
2 eggs, beaten
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 c. chopped nuts
1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
1 (12 oz.) can beer
Preparation

Cream well the brown sugar and butter.
Add eggs.
Mix together and sift 3 cups flour, baking soda, salt and spices. Dust the nuts and dates lightly with flour.
Add flour mixture alternately with beer to the sugar, butter and eggs, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
Fold in nuts and dates.
Butter and flour Bundt pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours or until done. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
