Popovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. milk
    scant c. unsifted flour (1 full c. minus 2 Tbsp.)
    1 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 eggs
Preparation
    Combine
    all ingredients
    except
    eggs.
    Beat
    at
    high speed for 1 minute.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating 20 seconds after each.
    Grease well
    8
    muffin
    tins
    or
    8 custard cups. Fill 2/3 full.
    Set in
    cold
    oven.
    Then
    turn
    heat to 425\u00b0. Bake 35 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
    Remove from oven and let stand a
    few
    minutes.
    If using muffin tins, put batter in every other cup.
    Fill empty ones 1/4 full of water.
