Dilly Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. active dry yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1 c. creamed cottage cheese, warmed slightly
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. flour
    1 egg
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. dill weed
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Soften yeast in water.
    Combine in mixing bowl the cottage cheese, sugar, onion, butter, dill weed, salt, soda, egg and softened yeast. Add flour to form a stiff dough, beating well after each addition.
    Cover and let rise in warm place until light and doubled in size, 60 minutes.
    Stir down dough. Put in pan and let rise again.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes.
    Brush with soft butter.
