Apple-Filled Squash - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 acorn squash
    5 Tbsp. butter, melted
    1 (18 oz.) can pie sliced apples
    3/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1/4 tsp. ground ginger
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Halve squash lengthwise; remove seeds. Brush with 2 tablespoons of the butter and sprinkle with salt. Place, cut side down, in a large baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
