Thai Beef Celery Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. young celery, chopped (no leaves)
    1 c. sliced beef (fillet)
    1 whole red onion, sliced diagonally
    1 tsp. ground chili pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. fish sauce
    2 Tbsp. lime juice
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    dash of m.s.g.
Preparation
    Brown half the onion and set aside.
    Brown the beef to medium rare, without oil.
    Put the beef in a bowl and add celery, raw onion, lime juice and fish sauce.
    Add a pinch of m.s.g. to taste. Mix thoroughly.
    Place on a platter.
    Sprinkle top with fried onion and ground chili pepper.
    Serve.
