Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. hamburger meat
    2 medium onions, chopped
    2 Irish potatoes, cubed and boiled
    1 qt. plus 1 pt. tomatoes or juice
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. hot pepper
    dab of ketchup
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 tsp. hot sauce
    2 cans kidney beans (reserve liquid)
Preparation
    Brown meat and onions. Boil potatoes until done; drain. Combine all ingredients except beans. Cook 2 hours. Add beans last 15 minutes or cooking. Make a thickening with reserved bean liquid and 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Add to chili and stir to keep from scorching. Longer it's cooked, better it is.
