Sponge Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    4 Tbsp. water
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat 3 egg whites and 4 tablespoons water until firm.
    Add sugar gradually; continue beating until quite stiff.
    Beat egg yolks until thick and fold into whites.
    Then add flour, sifted with salt and vanilla.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes in an 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Serve warm, sprinkled with powdered sugar and fresh fruit.
