Scalloped Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 lb. potatoes
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese
    1 to 1 1/2 sticks butter
    1 c. milk
    1 onion, diced
    salt
Preparation
    Peel and slice potatoes; wash well.
    Place 1/2 of potatoes in dish and salt.
    Slice cheese and place over bottom layer of potatoes.
    Slice butter over cheese and spread 1/2 of onion on top.
    Place remaining potatoes over 1st layer.
    Repeat butter, onions, salt and cheese.
    Pour 3/4 to 1 cup milk over it all and bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
