Caramel Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg yolks
    1 c. brown sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    3 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Blend the sugar, cornstarch and salt.
    Add the egg yolks and blend well.
    Add the milk slowly and mix.
    Cook slowly until it thickens and the last thing, add the butter and vanilla.
    Whip until cool.
    Turn into baked shell and top with meringue.
